Diane is a Peabody-nominated podcast producer and an award-winning documentary filmmaker. She has her MFA in Documentary Filmmaking from Wake Forest University and currently teaches directing and producing at New York University.

She has worked with Apple, Jigsaw Productions, Pineapple Street Media, and Midroll to produce and story edit narrative nonfiction podcasts, including Missing Richard Simmons (2017), Heaven's Gate (2017), No Man's Land (2018), and Running from COPS (2019).

She and directing partner Jasmine Luoma make cartographically inspired films as part of their production company, unmappable productions. They currently have a feature documentary in post-production. This project was chosen for the 2019 IFP Documentary Lab and the 2019 Garrett Scott Development Grant, which is awarded to "singular new voices in nonfiction film." They have received funding from NYSCA, Graham Foundation for the Advanced Studies of the Fine Arts, and the Made in NY Women's Film Fund. Their previous work has screened at festivals across the globe, including SXSW, Hamptons International, DokuFest, and Guanajuato International.

Diane also works as a story consultant for independent filmmakers and as an educational consultant for non-profits.
